Kaštela is a picturesque town in Central Dalmatia, between Split (the largest Croatian town on the sea) with Diocletian’s Palace and the town of Trogir (under the protection of UNESCO). Kaštela is a series of seven settlements between Split and Trogir.
Solin, one of these communities, is famous for its ancient Salona from the Roman times (all of which are worth visiting).
Marina Kaštela is an ideal starting point for sailing the Central Dalmatian islands, most notably Brač, Hvar, Korčula and Vis. These are all places of rich historical importance and also destinations for a good night’s sleep, especially Hvar.
Then you can also visit the islands of Lastovo (Natural Park) and Mljet (National Park) that abound in natural beauties. The nearest islands to Kaštela are Šolta and Drvenik with their authentic character.
